Evidence-Based Therapy for Teens & Young Adults

I offer in-person counselling in Vancouver and virtual counselling across BC for teens, university students, recent graduates, and young adults navigating the pressures of school, relationships, identity, and life transitions.

The teenage and young adult years can be exciting and overwhelming. Academic demands, career uncertainty, social pressures, and the expectation to “figure everything out” can leave many people feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of their direction. Many individuals also experience imposter syndrome, questioning their abilities or feeling like they don’t quite measure up despite their achievements.

Counselling provides a supportive space to explore your past and its impact on your present, better understand your thoughts, emotions, and how your brain works, learn evidence-based strategies, and start building a life that reflects what matters most to you.

Together, we focus on developing greater self-understanding, practical coping strategies, emotional resilience, and self-compassion so you can move forward with more confidence and clarity.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain about your next steps, or simply need a space to talk things through, counselling can help you reconnect with your strengths and develop tools to navigate challenges more effectively.

Book a complementary 15-minute phone consultation to see if working together feels like a good fit.

Common Questions
Does my benefit plan cover Clinical Counselling?
Coverage for Clinical Counselling varies by insurance provider and individual benefit plans. Many extended health plans include coverage for sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). To determine your coverage, check your benefits booklet or contact your provider and ask if they reimburse sessions with an RCC. If your plan offers coverage, you’ll typically pay upfront and submit a receipt for reimbursement.
How long will Counselling take?
The length of counselling varies for each person, depending on their goals, concerns, and personal needs. Some clients find a few sessions helpful for addressing a specific challenge, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months or longer. In our first session, we can discuss your goals and create a plan that works best for you.
What is the Cancelation Policy?
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to the full session fee. This policy helps ensure availability for all clients. To reschedule or cancel, please reach out as soon as possible.
